Mindfulness and Emotions Workshop

“We cannot decide how to feel, but we can decide what to do with what we feel.”

Basic Workshop | June 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What are you going to find in this workshop?

Have you ever felt trapped in your emotional reactions, without understanding where they come from or how to manage them?

In this emotional exploration workshop, we invite you to immerse yourself, from pause and meditation, in your internal emotional world, to better understand what emotions inhabit you and how they present themselves in you.

In this workshop, we will delve into:

  • Basic and Complex Emotions: discovering the wide range of emotions we experience daily, giving first and last names to your emotional visitors.
  • Sensations: connecting with the physical sensations that accompany each emotion for greater self-awareness.
  • Mental Narrative: observing the stories and beliefs that you
mind creates around your emotions and how they condition your relationship with them.
  • Behavior patterns: recognizing that there are automatic behaviors, to try to be present if any of them are activated and to be able to pause and offer a healthier alternative for you.

“I loved the class, thank you very much!”

“I have never been given such specific and detailed advice on how to stay upright”

“I have been able to overcome fears and break the block that I had for a long time, after a fall on my back that I had while practicing handstand”

Benefits of emotional exploration practices.

Instead of reacting to what you feel, the purpose is:

  1. Recognize what emotional guests inhabit you today, how they express themselves and what names they carry.
  2. From the break, try to make space to chat with them, discovering where they are coming from and why.
  3.  To then be able to find how to respond to them in a conscious and kind way with yourself and others.

Thus enhancing your self-knowledge, improving your relationship with yourself and with others, and strengthening your ability to face challenges with a kind mind, without judgment, and a balanced heart.
