We cannot pretend to start with very advanced positions or we will only get frustrated and give up. If you are just starting out in this wonderful sport that is yoga, performing any of these postures or asanas that we will tell you about below will make your learning process easier.

Downward Facing Dog Asana

Downward Facing Dog Pose or adho mukha svanasana, it is without a doubt, one of the most recommended yoga asanas for beginners, for its simplicity and for the benefits it can provide us. To do it, we will stand on all fours, resting our knees and the palms of our hands on the ground. Then we will take our hands a little further than shoulder height, opening our hands wide. Raise your knees and lean on your feet, stretch your arms well and raise your pelvis forming a kind of triangle with your body. Hold this pose for 5 breaths and slowly return to the original pose by leaning on your knees.

table posture

The table posture either Bharmanasana It is one of the positions yoga simpler, and therefore, more recommended for beginners. To do it, the first thing you should do is get on your knees on your mat. Then place your palms on the ground at the height of your shoulders and separate your knees until they are parallel with your hips. To finish, look down while maintaining a smooth and regular breath.

Asana or posture of the cow

This asana is nothing more than the continuation to table pose. To do it, we will start from the position that we have detailed previously. We will raise the coccyx keeping the knees and the palms of the hands as we had them before. Also we must raise our heads by stretching our neck. While we perform this posture we must inhale and exhale deeply and slowly.

This posture is the evolution of the cow posture. To do it we must start from the position of the cow. The first thing we must do is lower the chin towards our chest. Then we will lower the coccyx and curve our spine. We will inhale as we drop the belly down and exhale returning once again to curve the spine.

child's posture

The balasana or posture of the child, could serve as rest posture once we have performed the downward facing dog asana. This is a basic yoga asana, very easy to perform. To do it, the first thing we will do is get on our knees on our mat. The knees should be at the height of the hips. Later, bring your toes together and sit back on your heels with a very straight back. Exhale slowly as you lower and round your back until your chest meets your knees. and your head is on the ground. To finish you must place your arms parallel to your body, with the palms facing up. Repeat this for five breaths.
