Subtle Yoga Workshop, beyond the physical practice Koshas, Nadis and Chakras

"In this workshop what we propose is to make known and work on our subtle body so that the energy flows and we can activate all of our capacities."

Saturday, October 29 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Whatever your practice, we have all experienced the feeling at the end of the savasana that you feel balanced and calm at levels that are difficult to explain. Not only because your body feels relaxed and worked, but also because you notice how your energy has been regulated, your emotions flow and your mind is quiet. Yoga has acted on you, but on a level that cannot be said to be only physical.

What are the Koshas, Nadis and Chakras?

According to traditional texts, such as the Taittiriya Upanishad, the physical body is only one manifestation of a much more elaborate construction in which our spirit resides; the subtle body. And that is made up of different layers or levels, which are the Koshas. It is through this energy circuit that prana (vital energy) flows, that emotions flow like rivers, our attitudes ignite like fire, and thoughts blow through it like winds.

Each of these layers or bodies is composed of increasingly subtle degrees of energy and make up our personality, establishing how we experience life, the emotions, beliefs and thoughts that sometimes govern us. The vital energy passes through them through different channels, the Nadis, and where an energy node is generated, a Chakra appears, (circle in Sanskrit) concentrating the energy and creating a connection between the different bodies. Focusing on each one of them we can complete a process of personal, emotional and mental evolution that connects us with an integral well-being at a deeper and more permanent level.

What will you learn in this Yoga Philosophy workshop?

In this workshop what we propose is to make known and work on our subtle body so that the energy flows and we can activate all of our capacities.

– We will explain each of the five Koshas and the different Nadis.

– One by one, we will do a physical practice on the seven Chakra to unblock them, harmonize them and understand what relationship they have with your feeling, your thinking, your being in the world.

– Offer a deeper experience of what Yoga means and offer you keys that you can take into your day to day to live in a more connected and full way.
