Laia Blesa

Art director by profession, I started practicing yoga about twenty years ago looking for an activity that would help me better manage stress. However the path of yoga is revealing and little by little I felt the need to insert a vision more holistic and spiritual in my regular practice.

Yoga is not just a physical practice of asanas, but it is a philosophy that refers to a process, a path to liberation through love and compassion. According to the Vedanta philosophy, yoga means union and this union corresponds to the individual consciousness with the Supreme consciousness.

A trip to India with Késhava, a Sincronia teacher, in Rishikesh, made the seed of yoga flourish and when I returned to Barcelona I started my first 500H teacher training obtaining the international title of yoga teacher accredited by Yoga Alliance. Currently, as an eternal student, I continue to receive training in the different styles of yoga such as Iyengar, Sivananda or Dharma Yoga.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my Hatha Yoga teachings and above all to learn from other yogis.

“It is not what we receive but what we are able to give that determines the value of our life.”

Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi)
