“Life is for living not to understanding”
Shri Guruji Swami Vivekananda
With a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2005, Alba landed in Bombay on July 2007 with the intention, to travel, to learn and to know herself (although she believes one of the gifts of traveling alone, is the company of those who you meet along the way).
That first trip to India lasted 6 months and was her first contact with yoga, in an ashram of Master Sivananda at the foot of the Himalayas, with an octogenarian Japanese teacher. During the same trip, she experienced a 15-day silent retreat in a Buddhist monastery, right in the village where Buddha was illuminated and where the Bhoo tree is (Boodhgaya). During that time, she completed a teaching course and Buddhist meditation experience, eating vegetarian, and maintaining a state of silence.[/vc_wp_text]
